@JNU_official_50 is a research-intensive university with 20 centres recognised by national and international bodies. The Centre for Studies of Regional Development is a Centre of Excellence in Tribal Studies. With facilities like AIRF, CIF, HPC, and DST-PURSE-funded labs, JNU empowers faculty and students to lead cutting-edge research.
2. Global Collaborations
JNU has 150 active collaborations across 48 countries, facilitating student and faculty exchanges, joint projects, and academic linkages. With MoUs and Agreements of Cooperation (AoCs) the university supports interdisciplinary partnerships with top institutions worldwide.
3. Curriculum Enrichment
JNU has implemented NEP 2020 in both letter and spirit. 100 UG/PG interdisciplinary courses promote cross-domain learning, 500 courses via MOOCs, SWAYAM, and NPTEL enhance student flexibility. The University also promotes the Indian Knowledge Systems through language and culture programmes. In 2021, the University adopted the Academic Bank of Credit system and has thus far issued over 4,000 degrees that are eligible under the programme.
