Have you looked into this in Texas? We have regulatory and fraud enforcement failures, too. As an example, since you @tedcruz voted in favor of Frankenstein hemp-derived THC, what says you about the regulatory failure of industrial hemp in Texas? A 2025 review of 56 entities listed by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) received in a FOIA request (see pic) as “industrial hemp farms” reveals systemic regulatory failure and a breakdown in basic verification and enforcement. Of the 56 listings reviewed: •3 businesses were permanently closed •3 were duplicate listings •3 listed incorrect addresses or cities •11 were not relevant or appropriate to be listed as hemp farms •16 were businesses primarily selling food, beverages, cosmetics, or vape products •5 were retail smoke shops In total, a majority of entities listed as “industrial hemp farms” were not legitimate agricultural producers, but instead retail or consumer-product businesses OR did not exist at all. This indicates: No meaningful vetting of applicants; No routine verification of physical locations; No enforcement of statutory distinctions between farming, manufacturing, and retail. It’s a registry that functions as a paper shield rather than an oversight tool. The result is a state-sanctioned registry that misrepresents retail THC sellers as agricultural producers, undermining food safety laws, consumer protection, and legislative intent. This is not a loophole. It is an ENFORCEMENT failure when more than half of Texas’ ‘industrial hemp farm’ listings aren’t farms at all, many are smoke shops, vape sellers, or closed businesses. That’s a regulatory failure. P.S. - Texas hemp oversight scandal: Sid Miller’s chief of staff Todd Smith was indicted, and later pled guilty, to felony bribery tied to selling access to hemp licenses, then was rehired by Miller to lead the same agency. Say whattttttt??? Who is actually growing hemp in Texas? What statutory or regulatory safeguards exist to ensure that “hemp grower” licenses are issued only to bona fide agricultural producers, and how often are those safeguards enforced? If most listed “hemp farms” aren’t farms at all, is the state regulating agriculture…or who/which shady/foreign entities might be laundering retail THC sales through an agricultural registry??? @AGPamBondi @GregAbbott_TX @DanPatrick @TheDankInformer @KXAN_News @KVUE @WSJ @nickshirleyy @SteveRob @natesheetsforTX @realDonaldTrump @CitizensSafe @learnaboutsam @KiahCollier @milesmoffeit @TerryLanford1 @lmcgaughy @JinATX @KenPaxtonTX @TexasDeptofAg @statesman @tplohetski @baylisswagner @PeterWhoriskey @johnmattes @electcharles #txlege @FBIDirectorKash

The @AmerMedicalAssn just called for a ban on concentrated 7-OH kratom products — the potent opioid-like compounds being sold in flavored gummies and candy-colored packaging aimed directly at kids.

When will @KenPaxtonTX enforce the THC laws against the hemp industry’s addictive, brain damaging products?

Texas Supreme Court just denied a rehearing on their hemp THC ruling. Now time for Department of State health services and Attorney General‘s office to get to work because they don’t have to wait for a federal ban! Bye, hempsters!

Today, the task force and the DOJ announced a massive take down of two of the largest Medicaid fraud cases in Minnesota state history, as well as the largest autism fraud scheme ever charged by the federal government. Our message is simple: if you’re committing fraud, we will find you, and we won’t rest until justice is served.

🚨Bi-partisan lobbyists join the cynical cause as intoxicating hemp faces endgame in U.S ⚠️“I mean, look: If you’re gonna deal with a criminal organization, you need a good interface, right?” “Hemp Industry and Farmers of America (HIFA), which ‘emerged’ (as its website observes) last December, is linked to both Republican and Democrat lobbyists, and is rather obviously a shill for intoxicating hemp producers and their CBD-making handmaidens.” $MSOS #SmokeShopGate #GasStationWeed hemptoday.net/bi-partisan-lo…

You also joined @GeneforTexas WuhanFlu-Shay, the Imperial Chair of the @TexasHDC and VOTED "NO" on SJR-87, aka "Jocelyn's Law," so we are well aware of how much you favor Illegal Invaders, but spare us the "poor child" bullshit. Jocelyn Nungaray didn't commit any crime, either. But she's dead.

DA Garza needs to go. This is madness.
AUSTIN WOMAN's dogs maul a woman walking down a sidewalk. The victim didn't think she'd survive, and her arm is so badly torn she'll need plastic surgery. Panvrla White was charged in March with a felony, her Cane Corsos were euthanized, and she posted bond with orders not to possess any pets. Then things got worse. Travis County prosecutors quietly dismissed two of her unrelated felonies (burglary and criminal mischief) through pre-trial diversion. Days later, White started threatening shelter staff, got banned from the property, and kept coming back. When officers arrested her last month, they found meth tucked in her bra. She bonded out again. A week later, she tracked down a witness from the dog case at an HEB and punched him in the face and allegedly threw a rock went through his window. Then she called a veteran's crisis line and said she had an AK-47 and was going to kill shelter staff and the officers who took her dogs. She named an animal services investigator and said, "by the end of the day there will be no more of you." White has 32 cases in Travis County, including a felony for forging docs to sell a dead lady's house, plus convictions for robbery/theft and credit card abuse. A harassment case is still pending from last year, when her OTHER dog, a Spanish Mastiff, attacked a neighbor she then spent weeks threatening.

Big Tobacco donated to President Trump with the expectation of favorable treatment. Boy, did Trump deliver. For the first time in history, FDA has approved flavored e-cigarettes, despite the known risk to kids, and allowed countless other illegal vapes to remain available to kids indefinitely.

House Democrats started the current mid-decade redistricting battle in NY before the 2024 election. Now that it’s backfired on them, they are pushing a stunning next step: nuke the judicial branch of government and pack the court! They are anarchists now.
🚨Report: Democrats are trying to create a plan that will overturn the Virginia Supreme Court ruling that overturned their map The plan would include lowering the mandatory retirement age for justices from 75 to 54 (or less). Therefore, that would remove every current justice on the court. Then the Democrat majority the state legislature would appoint 7 new justices and they would redraw the map to a 10D-1R map Via: The New York Times
