.@UKParliament Pleased to hear you'll be debating LTNs on Mon 20 May.👏 Will the debate include environmental fraud - the deliberate partial collection of data, combined with using modelling tricks to make negative impacts appear to be beneficial effects?👇x.com/LittleNinjaUK/status/1…

This suggests councils deliberately changed counter settings to omit vehicles stuck in start-stop-idling traffic created by their LTNs. 👇 A desperate act by councils hiding the truth that LTNs increase traffic, congestion & emissions on our community main roads & Red Routes.

We make no apology for returning to the Aldred study published yesterday as it's being lauded by so many LTNers. Only 1% initially responded to her, so she contacted people on the Oyster & Cyclist databases to up the responses. Representative? sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

Outside Canonbury Primary School (& nursery) today👇 @IslingtonBC are “counting” vehicles over the half-term, using a device that doesn’t count slow moving traffic. @LittleNinjaUK @MarnieIslington @SocEnvJustice @BekahBexi @ediz1975 @EllaRobertaFdn How do we save all CYP?

Today’s @thetimes article by @andrewellson quotes @NAOorguk report criticising “poor implementation of [LTN] schemes in places where plans had not been developed before the pandemic and local communities were not adequately consulted”. In other words, the @yourcroydon playbook.

We're not thrilled. Listen to Islington resident @BekahBexi "This ex-Islington Council employee most unhelpful during consultations for @IslingtonBC People Friendly Streets. The lives of Islington communities sacrificed by LTN fanatics using our borough as a career stepping stone
Thrilled to welcome @JuliePlichon as our Head of Design and Engineering."It’s so exciting to be part of a forward-thinking organisation that leads on technical design and advocacy to build tomorrow's inclusive, sustainable and climate resilient cities."👉 buff.ly/3EcPJtH

Why the opposition to LTNs will not go away. The social and environmental injustice of LTNs brilliantly outlined by @roozie52 adressing the full meeting of Hackney Council. To get the full speech watch all 3 videos.

In our latest briefing we outline the ways in which the data used to justify LTNs is unravelling. (Page two in the tweet below).

ANGRY OF ISLINGTON What @IslingtonBC @RowChampion forget to mention is how bloody hard they make it for people to get one of these exemptions. They want to see very personal Medical Reports. You may have high rate mobility with DLA and a mobility car but it counts for nothing!

All roads were better in 2021 due to lockdown. There is no clean air spike recorded showing that LTNs did any better, they were just the same as non LTNs. Any (understandable) gains on ltn internal roads are cancelled out by (understandable) worse air quality on ltn boundary rds.

We have official accounts from respiratory teams that LTNs exacerbate asthma symptoms. It wld as it’s about exposure. If you’re passionate about Clean Air and support LTNs you’re part of the problem. Medical drs have no need to lie they’re highlighting where patients are living.

Think you are jumping the gun here? This is a pre-print non peer reviewed paper. Was the data collected by independent researchers or Islington Council? Did the researchers check for roads that are taking traffic from LTN streets (all boroughs have them)
