BREAKING: WE THE PEOPLE OF FLORIDA DEMAND A GOP PRIMARY DEBATE BE HELD FOR THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF FLORIDA. Debates among competing electoral candidates have become a campaign centerpiece in elections nationwide. Many states have developed a debate tradition and usually civil society groups have been critical in making these happen. Debates help voters make informed choices and encourage candidates to focus on policy issues, a conviction so widely held that these candidate showdowns have become mainstays of the electoral process in many places. We, the legal and registered Voters of Florida, are calling for all the Florida GOP gubernatorial candidates to stand up and be held accountable to the Voters of Florida and debate (at least once, more if time permits) Florida is too important of a state and our nation is at a historical turning point and we must make certain our choices for Governor of Florida are based on open and transparent election processes. Therefore, We The People of Florida DEMAND a GOP gubernatorial DEBATE prior to the primary elections. @ByronDonalds @JayCollinsFL @j_fishback @Paul_Renner @GovRonDeSantis The left should do the same but will almost certainly not adhere to any fair process. But WTPOF challenge them as well.

What you talking about, I’m a Florida voter and not voting Donalds, I’m not a Massie supporter, not a bot, and not an East Asian account. I find it funny that all the “influencers” have zero awareness that the lieutenant governor of Florida, Jay Collins, is also running. He easily outperforms Donalds every single day delivering for this state. We want someone who shows up and delivers. Not a tough concept.

What a joke! More like the Sunshine State SnoozeFest if it doesn't include a debate! @TheFLGOP @EvanPower should be ashamed of themselves for putting on this mockery!

Here’s an idea: Florida gubernatorial candidates must be able to spell “achievability” to successfully qualify for debates.

Tommy Robinson has just walked out of court with a victory that is already being called one of the most explosive free-speech moments in Britain. The terrorism-related case against him — linked to his refusal to hand over his phone PIN to UK police — was thrown out after the judge ruled the stop unlawful and reportedly said Robinson had been targeted because of his political views. This was not just about a phone. This was about power, politics, journalism, and whether the state can treat someone like a national security threat simply because it dislikes what they say. Robinson says he refused to unlock his phone to protect journalistic sources. The state treated it as a terrorism matter. The court, according to Robinson’s reaction, saw something far more disturbing: political targeting. Then came the detail that made the story explode worldwide: **Elon Musk reportedly helped finance Robinson’s legal defense**, stepping in where others stayed silent and turning the case into a global battle over free expression. Robinson thanked Musk publicly, asking why it had taken an American businessman to fight for justice in Britain. “First of all, thank you, Elon Musk,” Robinson said, before adding that he was targeted because of his political beliefs and that counterterrorism police were allegedly used to get access to his phone as a journalist. For supporters, this ruling is a brutal warning to the establishment: if terrorism powers can be used against controversial speech today, who will be next tomorrow? Critics will still call Robinson divisive, but this case has forced a bigger question onto the table — do rights only apply to people the government likes?

Odd to watch the party think it’s completely okay to sideline the current lieutenant governor of Florida, Jay Collins, who is in the race and delivering results every day for actual Floridians, polls aren’t even being run ethically. In no universe does the #2 of our state not have 10% support in his own party. This game is getting old, and fast.

I know how Elon Musk became a trillionaire, but I don't know how Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and Nancy Pelosi became millionaires.

It's absurd that emergency response teams had to deal with "fans" burning school busses and vandalizing property. A total disgrace.

It would be wise for the @FloridaGOP @EvanPower @Billhelmich and the merry band of RINOs to understand that we are absolutely not going to coalesce around @ByronDonalds. @TeamCollinsFL @CroakyWasRight @RamonaRichey @CollinsWarRoom

Approximately 4 months ago, Evan Power said: “Primaries are up to our Republican voters. We are not involved until we support all our nominees.” That didn’t age well. @FloridaGOP has endorsed candidates in Republican primaries, refused to allow statewide candidates to debate, and put the thumb on the scale for establishment favorites. The Sunshine Showdown has become a disaster for Florida Republicans. Grassroots voters are being sidelined today, but come November they’ll be asked to fall in line and provide support. @EvanPower, @ViceChairTeague , and @Billhelmich own this mess.

When the chairman of this party continually blocks people who have been loyal Republicans for decades and derides them as bots, simply for asking questions . . . one must question what the true intent of this chairman must be. It certainly isn’t to serve the voters. Sad.

Undecided voters are polling higher than all candidates. We demand a debates so we can make the most informed choices. What the RPOF is doing to voters should require resignations from all of leadership. This is wrong and stinks of corruption.
