"He'd be so happy." Former Rugby League player Sir Kevin Sinfield on receiving a Knighthood in the King's Birthday Honours after being inspired by former team-mate and friend Rob Burrow, who died in 2024 after living with motor neurone disease 🫶

Good to see Ant Middlton campaigning for Rob Kenyon in Makerfield. Who better to help push the message that Reform is on the side of local businesses than someone who lives in Dubai and is banned as a company director for dodging £1m in tax?

Long overdue, but so richly deserved. The very best of us. If the world had a bit more Kevin Sinfield about it then it would be a much better place.

Sir Kev running for his little mate again if you can be anyone in this world, be more like Kevin Sinfield the best friend anyone could have. What a man and we are so lucky to have him representing our sport can’t think of a better man to do it.

The great Paul Whitehouse is 68 years old today, which means I am obliged to post this (again!) - arguably the most majestically random but brilliant comedy sketch committed to celluloid for at least the last, what, forty, forty five years? Yes, forty, forty five years. Happy birthday Paul 🤘

Reminder: the loss on the oil rights Thatcher sold was around £500bn
Reminder: the £2 billion of gold Gordon Brown sold when he was Chancellor would be worth £44 billion today.

Reform got 29 councillors with 23% of the vote. Greens got 9 councillors with 21% of the vote. We desperately need a fair voting system.
📈 Highest ever Green vote share! 🎉 And second in overall vote share - with 21% of the vote! ✅️ Let's turn that into more Green councillors next year: Join.greenparty.org.uk

Finally, no political finger pointing, back biting, bullshit. This is what we believe in and why. Love it
Superb political ad. One of the best you’ll see. This is better, and resonates more, than anything coming from Labour or the Tories.

BREAKING: Trump just attacked NATO and then goes on to say that "25 years ago" he said that NATO was a "Paper tiger" and that "they would never come to our rescue". FACT: 25 years ago was March 26, 2001. Less than 6 months after that, on September 12, 2001, NATO invoked Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty for the first and only time ever. They lost 1100 soldiers fighting for us. Trump is a Moron.

Tesco could pay every worker an extra £10,000 and still make a profit. British Gas could pay every worker an extra £35,000 and still make a profit. Shell could pay every worker an extra £300,000 and still make a profit. It is the billionaires who are ripping you off.
