Utterly disgraceful.
BREAKING: Health secretary @jamesmurray_ldn has refused to honour a meeting with the Darlington nurses Bethany Hutchison, President of the Darlington Nursing Union, said: “We were encouraged when @wesstreeting recognised the seriousness of our case and indicated a willingness to meet. That commitment now appears to have been set aside. This issue is not theoretical, it affects frontline staff every day. We are simply asking for clarity, for the law to be applied properly, and for our dignity and safety to be respected. We urge the current Health Secretary to honour his predecessor’s commitment, meet with us, and ensure that what happened in Darlington is never repeated elsewhere in the NHS.” Andrea Williams, Chief Executive of the Christian Legal Centre, said: “At a time when clarity and confidence are needed, the continued failure to ensure compliance with the law on sex and single-sex spaces across the NHS is deeply concerning. This is a snub to the nurses who have fought for years to secure dignity, privacy and safety at work. The Health Secretary should meet them without delay, listen carefully to their concerns, and provide assurances that their right to single sex spaces will be respected." Women raise concerns, write letters, debate and where necessary, crowdfund for court cases. Whereas Trans activists smash up and vandalise buildings, call for violence against dissenting women, have urine protests and issue threats. No wonder our Deputy First Minister this week said that she needed to proceed ‘carefully’ in applying the law on women's rights. Just imagine how careful women and girls need to be when simply going about their normal day….. 2/2

These MPs often reduce the Supreme Court ruling to the 'toilet argument'. It's irrelevant if men pretending to be women pose no threat. Men have no legal right to be in women's spaces. These MPs are actively campaigning against women's sex based rights.

"Politicians, unions and others currently outraged by the corrected EHRC Code of Practice don’t realise what they are asking for (or do they?) when they insist the law must be changed. They are actually asking for a repeal of parts of the Equality Act – the parts which protect women and gay people – because these cannot co-exist with a law which mandates self-choice of sex. The people with their ‘Trans Rights’ placards are demanding that legislation which protects women is rolled back to pre-1975."
I wrote about the strange claims from some people about women's rights and 'trans rights' and how the Supreme Court judgement and the new EHRC Code of Practice has resolved all the arguments! Link in next post 👇

“Sport is meaningless without fair competition. Some people say that if a man transitions into a woman this eliminates all the male performance advantage they had as a man. Science does not support that claim.” Evolutionary biologist and chair of Sex Matters, Dr Emma Hilton, has been at the forefront of the battle for fair and safe women’s sport. Her expertise has now turned to researching sex verification tests that are cheap, reliable, and quick. Is this the game changer that will keep female sport for females only from grassroots through to elite level? Come and hear her speak at Feminism: What’s the Point? 2026. “What is needed is constructive dialogue about how the law can work for everybody, based on a shared and accurate understanding of the law as it is, rather than the law as activists would prefer it to be.” Akua Reindorf KC knows equality law inside out and back to front… she will be joining the panel discussing Women and the Law: is the contract between women and the State broken? “As a default setting, I will not say ‘she’ of a man, because that’s paying lip service to a belief I don’t share.” Anyone who’s followed the employment tribunal case of nurse Sandie Peggie, will be familiar with Naomi Cunningham’s incisive questioning and dry wit. We’re looking forward to hearing her contribution to our panel Women and the Law: is the contract between women and the State broken? Come and join the debate at Feminism: What’s the Point? 2026. And yet you have just signed the EDM to reject the guidance issued by the EHRC? It’s all very well signalling your support for victims of MVAWG but why then sign something that would allow an abusive male who calls himself a woman to access a female-only refuge or support group?

Dr Alice Hodkinson of @biologyinmed and WRN gives her highly informed view on the model of informed consent used by Dr Sam Hall, a transactivist woman who says she’s a man. It's a case of 'you demand, we deliver' and is a 'complete failure of regulation'. Dr Alice lists just some of the horrendous health implications for children prescribed cross sex hormones. Where were the @gmcuk and @NHS in all this - why was it left to parents to escalate this scandal? @CDP1882 @miriam_cates @GBNEWS

Right it's normal in wrestling to have a guy shove his fingers inside your vag. For the record, when coaches sexually assault gymnasts while spotting, this is also their defense. And yes this happens. Fingers right inside the leotard. What is wrong with people defending this?
It's a normal wrestling situation you consent to by participating. Contact sports involve contact.

MEN AND WOMEN PREFER SINGLE SEX PROVISION A very clear and consistent poll result 👇 that demonstrates what we all know. Men and women overwhelmingly prefer privacy, dignity and safety in the presence of their own sex in changing rooms and toilets. Ask a clear question: they gave a clear answer!
NEW: Poll shows that the vast majority of people prefer straightforward single-sex facilities in workplaces and public spaces. This varies little by age or voting pattern. Politicians who prevaricate over the Supreme Court judgment are out of step with the public. Sex Matters commissioned an independent, nationally representative poll. We asked: “For each of the following, do you prefer them to be single sex or mixed sex?”

Women’s sex-based language matters - clear, accurate info women can understand & trust. Without it, women are reduced to “people” or “bodies,” trust in healthcare is lost & most vulnerable put at risk. @millihill @SexMattersOrg @JanetMurray x.com/UNSRVAW/status/1863493…

I am very concerned by the increasing onslaught on women-specific language, which seeks to erase the reality of womanhood itself and deny its innate and sex-related specificity. A number of influential media outlets, organizations, academic and health institutions, and experts are complicit in what can only be described as a new form of #ViolenceAgainstWomen. It must be stated that words such as "non-transgender women”, "cis women" and the like do not reflect any UN- or otherwise internationally-agreed standards. I call on media and all stakeholders to uphold the dignity of women and respect their human rights.

Uni’s are marking students down for using the words “women and mothers”. In this clip from the new story, the woman behind @justsay_mother tells how changes to language in women’s health were made with no research, pushing gender neutral terms. This is why research is needed.

Marginalised identity? He’s a hugely privileged young man who has post grad degrees from two leading universities (Trinity College Dublin and St Andrews) and is now a parliamentarian in a country where he is not (yet) a permanent resident. How many working class women are hidden in the “quiet corners” with no voice?
'When people see people in positions of power who belong to the marginalised identities that they've only seen in quiet corners, there is an element of pride there' Scotland's first openly non-binary MSP has said they hope more transgender people will seek election 👇
