Forest has been a genesis validator on Aptos since October 2022. We came in believing Move was the right architecture for institutional-grade blockchain infrastructure. Three years on, that thesis is no longer abstract — it's measurable.

Institutional adoption is no longer a forecast– BlackRock chose Aptos as the only non-EVM chain for its BUIDL fund. – Franklin Templeton's BENJI is live. – Stripe is launching payment services with native USDC. – Hang Seng Bank, BCG, and Aptos Labs are testing tokenized fund settlement on public blockchain. – Stablecoin supply on Aptos grew ~142% YTD, with BUIDL deployments alone driving ~57% of net new issuance.

4. The performance story is real. Aptos holds the top four daily transaction records of any blockchain — all set this year. The Baby Raptr consensus upgrade shaved 100–150ms off finality. Average fees fell ~61% QoQ. This isn't testnet benchmark talk — it's production performance under real load.
When we became a genesis validator in October 2022, the bet was that institutional capital would eventually need a chain built for finance, with Move's resource model providing the safety guarantees that solidity-based systems can't match.
That bet is paying off. The infrastructure being laid right now — BUIDL, BENJI, Stripe, regulatory clarity, deflationary tokenomics — is what serious institutional capital actually requires before it deploys at scale.
Forest is proud to have run validator infrastructure on Aptos since the beginning. We're more excited about the next three years than the last three.
