"For fluff sakes! Seriously? Again?!" 🤬🤬🤬🤬 That’s what my human growled through gritted teeth as her blood pressure launched into orbit. I could smell the frustration from three houses away. It was such a beautiful afternoon—no snow, sidewalks finally clear, perfect WalkNRoll weather and we were on our innocent little mailbox adventure like the polite citizens we are. Then we hit the corner and… plot twist. Some absolute legend had parked their massive truck trailer combo smack across the entire sidewalk, backed right up to the garage. Zero gap. Zero mercy. Not even room for my glorious fluffy self to wiggle through and assess the situation. Definitely no room for a power wheelchair. We’ve dealt with the usual suspects: cars half-parked like they own the sidewalk, snow mountains declaring war, construction zones that look like a demolition derby… but today took the prize for “Let me just casually block accessibility for hours because I felt like it.” We tried waiting it out. Sniffed every blade of grass between there and home like it was a gourmet tasting menu. Played in the driveway. Came back over half an hour later… still parked like it had signed a lease. My human doesn’t blow up often, but when she does? She dropped some words that made my sweet, innocent rottie ears want to file for emotional damages. I just sat there giving her my best professional “I’m a good girl and this is above my pay grade” stare. Hey, sidewalk hoggers: We’re not demanding a throne or a parade route. Just don’t block the sidewalk in the first place. Don’t assume everyone can just go around you, detour through grass, or turn into an off-road warrior. Leave the path clear — it’s not that complicated. If you see someone in a wheelchair (or any mobility device) out and about, remember: the sidewalk is for everyone, not your temporary parking spot. My delicate ears (and my human’s vocabulary) would greatly appreciate it. Tag every friend who parks like a menace and anyone who needs a reality check. And if this truck in the photo belongs to you… oops! Next time maybe move as soon as you've loaded or just drop the trailer and park the truck on the road instead of blocking the whole world. And be grateful my human wasn't carrying a full 💩 bag. She has amazing aim. Drop a 🔥 if you’re tired of this nonsense and a 🐾 if you’re team “clear the path”! #SassyServiceDog #ChesnyyTheRottie #AccessibilityFail #SidewalkBlockers #WheelchairLife #DontParkLikeAJerk #ServiceDogProblems

📰 BREAKING: Varanasi Junction Escalator Takes 3-Day “Spiritual Break”, Disabled Passenger Forced To Climb It Manually — Internet Asks, “Railways, Are You Not Embarrassed?” Varanasi | Dec 1, 2025: India’s railway stations finally have something in common with ancient monuments — both look grand from outside but don’t function from inside. A viral video from Varanasi Junction’s Platform 8 has triggered national outrage after a differently-abled man was seen pulling himself up a dead escalator while clutching his luggage, dignity, and sheer willpower — all because the machine decided to take a power-nap lasting three full days. ⚡ Railways’ Explanation: “Power Outage” Public’s Response: “So were your priorities.” Railway officials claimed the escalator was “off due to a power disruption” and needed a mandatory reset. Social media users, however, were quick to fact-check reality: “90% of escalators and lifts don’t work anyway — stop giving excuses,” one user wrote. 🎥 The Video That Sparked Outrage The clip shows: •A disabled man struggling up the dead escalator •His luggage dragging behind •Zero staff assistance •Zero functioning accessibility services •And 100% of the public wondering why the station even bothered installing escalators One netizen summed it up: “Railway should feel ashamed. Why install escalators if they’re going to be switched off like Diwali lights in January?” 🧾 Railways Releases Statement Northern Railway rushed to social media with a polished reply: •Power went out •DG backup restored supply •Safety resets needed •Everything took eight minutes •“All systems operational now” The internet, however, isn’t convinced. “Great, but where were these eight minutes for the last three days?” 🌍 Bigger Issue: Accessibility? What’s That? The incident reopened India’s favourite uncomfortable truth: Our public spaces simply aren’t designed for disabled citizens — only for photo ops and ribbon-cuttings. 🗳️ Context Varanasi is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha constituency, and users didn’t hesitate to point that out: “If this is the PM’s own constituency, what hope do the rest of us have?” #VaranasiJunction #AccessibilityFail #RailwaysShame

The message from me and my friend @yatinpanchal143 on behalf of the entire blind community. Hey @Telegram, enough is enough. Your complete disregard for accessibility is shameful. People with disabilities have been reporting these issues since November 2021, and you have done absolutely NOTHING. Issue 1: Message Reading Screen reader users cannot even read messages properly. No way to read by character, word, line, or paragraph. In groups, channels, or personal chats — it is a total mess. Issue 2: Video Calls Sure, the voice call ” and “video call” buttons are accessible, but once the call starts, the entire screen becomes a blank wall for screen reader users. No feedback, no control — just silence. Issue 3: iOS Accessibility On iPhones, your app is practically unusable. VoiceOver users cannot even navigate the interface properly. It is like accessibility never existed in your design meetings. You are violating WCAG 2.2 guidelines and still pretending this is not your problem. This is not a small bug — it is pure negligence. Accessibility is not optional. It is not a “nice to have.” It is a right. And your ignorance towards it is unacceptable. @MissionAccess_ @duro @dequesystems @accessibility00 @GyanTherapy @iamasagar @JaikyYadav16 @LevelAccessA11y @IAAPOrg @A11yNews @googleaccess @MSFTEnable @acbnational @NFB_voice @BlindUnion @IDA_CRPD_Forum @socialpwds @GoI_MeitY @_DigitalIndia @ncpedp_india @Ncpwds @BeMyEyes @DisabRightsFund @AppleSupport @tim_cook @accessible_apps @FreedomSci @APHfortheBlind @fbaccess @NVAccess @DisabilityRepor @BlindDroidUsers #MSFTEnableFeedback #TelegramAccessibility #AccessibilityFail #DoBetterTelegram #DisabilityRights #InclusionMatters #AccessibilityForAll #DigitalInclusion #TechForAll #EqualAccess #FixAccessibility #AccessibleTech #ShameOnTelegram
