This commitment is reflected in the following set of articles, which aim to highlight the importance of understanding ideas from various perspectives and applying them to specific contexts. Through this initiative, ECNU ROE strives to foster inclusive and thoughtful discussions within the academic community. A new ECNU ROE study surveyed #dairyLivestockFarmers in #Jalisco, #México to assess their knowledge on #climatechange and #adaptivecapacity to reduce their #vulnerability. The findings emphasized the need for #ClimateChangeEducation to respect and integrate both local and #scientificKnowledge. Growing up during the civil war in #Lebanon, our generation learned #resilience naturally. Despite the hardships, we never missed a school year, pushing forward even in the worst times. Now, as we raise our kids, we're trying to instill that same resilience in them. I'm doing my best to offer them some advice, and one strategy that keeps me going is maintaining daily and weekly work lists. If I don't complete a task today, it gets rolled over to tomorrow, but by week's end, everything needs to be crossed off. The more i am productive during the week, the lighter the workload for the weekend. It helps me stay focused and adaptable, no matter the circumstances. I don’t check the news except in between tasks. And last but not least, i thank God every day that I am able to work. Others are not as lucky 😔 #adaptivecapacity
