In ELCOT SEZ 1 at Ilandhaikukam, 100% land was already allocated and ELCOT IT building in this SEZ was fully occupied.
In ELCOT SEZ 2 at Vadapalanji already 100 acres allocated for HCL, ChainSys & Pinnacle. ELCOT IT building in this SEZ was already 90% occupied.

The @MEDEF_I Delegation included Paul Hermelin, Chairman of Capgemini, who first set up their operations in India about two decades ago.
He mentioned that though they'd just leased ~1.4 lakh sq ft in our new Coimbatore ELCOT Tower, their headcount in TN was only around 12,000 people (in various cities including Salem and Coimbatore), out of more than 150,000 people in India.
I explained the strengths of TN and the new initiatives taken by our Govt under CM @mkstalin to increase the skills of TN's youth, and TN's profile in the Global Economy.
He responded that they would consider establishing a Building/Campus of their own in our State soon to increase TN's share in their India workforce.
