Today I attended an event at Female Founders’ Forum at Google’s Office
Notes from panel
- have senior mentors early in your career and junior ones later, junior people who will give you unfiltered feedback
- think of your investors like your customers, value creation, timeline.
- don’t spend time educating VCs, pick those who already know your domain
- co-founding a startup with your husband can lead to divorce
- even if the models are getting better, there is a belief in the power of personalization
- for AI, you have to change the messaging so it matches the perception of the customer and the new AI language or let them experiment with chatGPT to see that everything isn’t solved yet
- AI and developers with AI will create a lot of code, but also bad code, and this big code needs to be tested. Code in the past decade grew 100-500x, developers need to assess new tools. Check out EngFlow
- only the AI will write bad code, all the developers will write good code 😋
Thank you Helen Altshuler, Paroma Varma, Nayul Lina Kim, Eylul Kayin and Iliana Quinonez
