𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
The two-day national workshop on developing guidelines for resource centres under Samagra Shiksha to strengthen inclusive education was organised by NCERT, New Delhi, in collaboration with Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRIID), Chandigarh.
Eminent experts present included Prof. Vinay Kumar Singh, Head of the Department of Education of Groups with Special Needs (DEGSN), NCERT; Dr. Shilpa Manogna, Associate Professor, (DEGSN) along with eminent professionals from across the country.
Dignitaries included Dr. Ajeet Sidana (Joint Director, GRIID); Dr. M. Karuppasamy (Coordinator, College of Special Education, GRIID); Dr. Yashvinder Kapil; Dr. Bibhakar Vishwakarma, Chandigarh; along with other distinguished professionals.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, creating an inspiring start. This initiative aims to design, structure, and implement effective strategies, models, and best practices for resource rooms under the Samagra Shiksha programme to ensure equitable and meaningful learning opportunities for all learners.
