Minimum self replicating robot: Two motors, metal bar with colorations attaching them, and tool. A single observational camera uses Local Positioning System, Optics. This works. Mine, forge, extrude wire, make electric engine. See my other posts how you can recursively make Mars habitable by making robots and solar towers. I believe I invented the biggest thing in space history: Auto Colonization Robots, Techaforming @billnye @neiltyson @RichardDawkins @nvidia @dod @darpa stole from me #robot @science @NVIDIARobotics @TaiyoRobotics @UnitreeRobotics @agilityrobotics @MITRobotics @WavLab

This research kinda started as a joke! But with encouragement from my wonderful mentors and advocates (special shoutouts to Radhika Nagpal, Krzysztof Gajos @kgajos, and Jim Waldo), it turned into a real research project, which I ended up publishing at the HRI conference.

I first got into human-robot interaction research while I was an undergrad at @Harvard. I started wondering about the relationship between trust & robots & people, so I posed a question of whether university students would assist a random robot in entering their locked dorms.

Feel free to DM your questions! In the meantime, I’ll kick off with a little about my research. My research agenda concerns how people can easily understand and change robot & AI agent behaviors.
