Lawmakers should earn salary hikes, not sue taxpayers to line their own pockets. @KenCuccinelli @Crawford4Cong @RepStenyHoyer @ClyburnSC06 @RodneyDavis @RepPerlmutter @SenatorKirk I couldn't find former Rep Tom Davis on X, but he is currently a parter at a large DC law firm.

Are @SenThomTillis and @RodneyDavis the only Republican Jihads ? Pretty sure Rand and Massie are now on this list too. Davis has been gone since 2023

…. 2 ex-members (led by @RodneyDavis) & 3 current (Crawford, Hoyer, Clyburn) have sued on grounds that blocking annual COLA violates portions of 27th Amdt & 1989 ethics law. This could prompt a bump in salary from $174k to roughly $250k. It’s a big deal. washingtonpost.com/politics/…

For instance, former Rep. @RodneyDavis introduced a bill several times to allow employers to pay off their employees' student loans tax free up to $5,250 per year. It didn’t pass until attached as a provision of the CARES Act pandemic relief package in 2020.
Also worth pointing out that lots of introduced bills are ultimately folded into larger omnibus bills. So members of Congress don’t always get the credit of having **their** bill signed into law, but their language often does — likely in some of those co-sponsored bills.

Like, just her learning an 'oppo' book on every Senator on the Democratic side of the dais?" W/ @kasie @adrienneelrod @LACaldwellDC @RodneyDavis

During this week’s Hot Springs Chamber visit to Washington, D.C., I was glad to welcome friends and colleagues to discuss key issues directly impacting Arkansans. Our conversations touched on the housing crisis, the economy, and important legislation before Congress, including the Great American Outdoors Act and the Fix Our Forests Act. I’m grateful to my colleagues in the Arkansas delegation (@RepFrenchHill, @RepRickCrawford, @SenTomCotton) for taking time to meet with their fellow Arkansans and share insights on pressing federal issues. I also appreciated visits from friends outside the delegation — former congressional colleague and now Head of Government Affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce @RodneyDavis, and my good friend @RepScottPeters, a strong champion and c-sponsor of our bipartisan Fix Our Forests Act.
