Nearly two decades after the Makkah Masjid Blast and the painful events that followed, the people of Telangana are still waiting for complete transparency. The report submitted by the Bhaskar Rao Commission must be tabled in the Telangana Assembly without any further delay. The Commission was formed to examine the police firing and the circumstances surrounding the aftermath of the blast. If a judicial or inquiry commission was constituted using public money, then its findings belong to the people not locked away in government files. Victims, families, civil society, journalists, lawyers, and citizens have every democratic right to know: • What findings were made? • Were mistakes identified? • Was accountability fixed? • What recommendations were given? Transparency strengthens democracy. Suppressing reports weakens public trust. The CM held a high-level review meeting alongside Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy and Assembly Speaker G. Prasad Kumar. A key directive is to redesign the Assembly hall to ensure greater privacy and dignity for all members during legislative sessions.  In a major structural update, the CM ordered the "Central Hall" for members to be fully prepared and ready before the next session begins.
