Hey Hooo everyone!
I’ve spent a long time building top-down shooters, roguelikes, and bullet-hell prototypes in Unity - and at some point I decided to stop reinventing the same systems over and over.
So I built Top Down - Rogue-like Engine:
a unified, modular framework focused on clean architecture and fast iteration.
What’s inside:
• ScriptableObject-driven systems
• Inspector-first workflows
• Visual AI state editor
• Fully data-driven weapons, loot, and actions
• Centralized object pooling
So far, I have created basic functionality that will be expanded in the future, and new content and mechanics will be added. You can see what's in the plans in the Roadmap.
