Today in Kabuchai, Chwele Sub-County, Bungoma County, we took decisive steps toward strengthening community empowerment and promoting inclusive development. Through our ongoing widows’ and women’s empowerment programs, we continue to uplift lives by creating sustainable opportunities that foster self-reliance and resilience among women. I had the privilege of engaging directly with widows and women groups who remain the backbone of our communities. Their determination and contribution to social and economic transformation reaffirm our commitment to empowering grassroots groups as key drivers of national development. On behalf of His Excellency President Dr. @WilliamsRuto, I conveyed his unwavering commitment to the people of Bungoma. The President has assured that key development projects, including the rollout of Affordable Housing and the improvement of road infrastructure, will soon be implemented to enhance connectivity and spur economic growth. Equally, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. @HonWetangula, has held discussions with the President on the establishment of a modern healthcare facility in Bungoma County. This facility will ensure access to quality and free healthcare services, particularly for cancer patients, expectant mothers and children, right here at home. As the @Environment_Ke, we are committed to ensuring Bungoma fully benefits from our environmental programs. We will intensify fruit tree planting initiatives across the county to support household nutrition and food security, while working closely with the county government to align environmental conservation efforts with community livelihoods. The President has further pledged to create a platform at State House for women to share their aspirations and policy ideas, an important step toward inclusive governance and gender-responsive development. I call upon all of us to continue embracing peace, unity and shared purpose as we work together to build a stronger, greener and more prosperous nation.
