🔧 The Importance of Error Mitigation for Quantum Computation 🔍 This paper explores error mitigation (EM), a method to reduce noise in quantum algorithms, highlighting its role in achieving quantum advantages. Key insights: 1️⃣ EM vs. EC: EM reduces overhead but adds runtime cost. 2️⃣ EM enables finite quantum advantages. 3️⃣ Circuit volume boosts from EM. 📖 Read more: arxiv.org/pdf/2503.17243 #QubitScript #QuantumComputing #ErrorMitigation #QuantumAdvantage

QEDMA Quantum Computing was founded in 2020 by Asif Sinay, Ph.D, Netanel Lindner, and Dorit Aharonov to develop the quantum operating system of the future. future-of-computing.com/qedm… Quantum computing has long been heralded as the next frontier in computing. However, despite their immense potential, quantum computers today still make too many errors to be useful. While it may become possible to correct these errors in the future, there is still a long way to go to reach fault tolerance. For now, the best strategy is to minimize errors and mitigate their impact on quantum computations by devising methods that can work with the existing quantum hardware. QEDMA's vision encompasses not only methods to characterize quantum hardware but also robust error mitigation strategies to get optimal results from the current generation of quantum computers. Learn more about the future of quantum operating systems from this interview: 👉  why quantum computers can have two basic errors while classical computers need to deal with only one basic error 👉  how error mitigation deals with reversible and non-reversible errors 👉  how to build a startup in an industry without financial ROI (yet) #FutureOfComputing #Future #Computing #Quantum #OS #QuantumComputing #ErrorMitigation #ErrorCorrection #Startups #Entrepreneurs #VC #VentureCapital #Newsletter #Interview
