Ik heb altijd al het gevoel gehad dat ons Alex onderdeel was van de digitale early homecomputing familie. Weliswaar in zijn entertainment specialiteit, maar toch πŸ€ͺ

🌐 The People's Compute: Why Cysic is a Movement, Not Just a Project 🧡 1/7 We’ve seen the rise of Bitcoin as the People's Money. Now, prepare for Cysic as the People's Compute. πŸš€ This isn't just about tech; it's about shifting power from corporate giants to the individual. Own your compute, own your future. #Decentralization #Cysic #Community 2/7 Remember the early days of Bitcoin mining? Decentralized. Accessible. Rewarding. Cysic brings that ethos to compute power. Your spare GPU isn't just a gaming rig; it's a node in a global, verifiable compute network. From idle hardware to active participant. #MineFi #HomeComputing 3/7 The Data Center is Dead. Long Live the Distributed Compute Network. 🌍 Why funnel all compute into centralized, vulnerable data centers when you can leverage the untapped power of millions of devices worldwide? Cysic's vision is a resilient, censorship-resistant compute fabric. 4/7 What does Community-Owned Compute mean for you? Financial Freedom: Monetize your hardware directly. Innovation Access: Build AI models without permission. True Ownership: Control your data, control your compute. This isn't just a platform; it's an Ecosystem of Empowerment. 5/7 The Narrative Flip: From "Cloud Provider" to "Compute Steward". Cysic fosters a network where participants are incentivized to maintain high-quality compute, secured by ZK-proofs. It's a collective responsibility that builds a stronger, more reliable infrastructure for Web3. 6/7 Macro Trend Alert: As AI adoption skyrockets, so will the demand for compute. Centralized providers simply cannot keep up with the scale AND the ethos of decentralization that Web3 demands. Cysic is building the bridge. Get ready for exponential growth. This is the Bitcoin of Compute moment. 7/7 Don't just watch from the sidelines. Be part of the movement. Follow @cysic_xyz, join the Discord, and start learning how you can contribute your cycles. The future of compute is being built, brick by digital brick, by us. RT if you're ready for the People's Compute! πŸ‘‡ #Web3Community #Visionary #LFG

πŸ’¬ β€œI’ve got more success than I ever wanted… now I just want to make better games.” – Ken Williams In this retro clip, Ken Williams shares a piece of his philosophyβ€”not driven by money, but by a genuine love for building, innovating, and making the home computer more useful and exciting for everyone. From helping create the graphical adventure genre to dreaming of a PC in every home, Ken’s words still echo across the world of gaming and tech. πŸŽ₯ Watch, reflect, and tag someone who's building for the love of it. #KenWilliams #SierraOnline #ColossalCave #RetroGaming #GamingHistory #AdventureGames #GameDev #Innovation #HomeComputing #80sGaming #Visionary

1977 there wasn't even MS-DOS. A tiny corporation named Microsoft made some BASIC-Interpreters for early homecomputing. In fact the Voyager 1 launch year can be seen more or less as the "real" start year of the commercial homecomputer market with these 3 devices ( 4 to 8 KB RAM )
