A 2,000-year-old fig was recently unearthed at Drumanagh, a promontory fort in North Dublin. Archaeologists believe it proves trade with the Roman Empire. The excavation also yielded other Roman-era artefacts, including metal and ceramic items from Spain, Gaul, and Roman Britain. High status people in ancient Dublin had access to Roman foods like figs and olive oil and even used imported glassware. The findings were made by the UCD Ancient Foods research team, led by Meriel McClatchie , and @Fingalcoco archaeology department.

Starvation levels have sharply risen in southern Gaza. No aid/ food/ goods/ supplies allowed into the strip over the past three weeks. People remain nights and days without food. People are desperate for a loaf of bread or one vegetable.
