Open Theists: How central is the foreknowledge argument to your position? If you became convinced that exhaustive divine foreknowledge is compatible with libertarian freedom, would you, for example, still think scriptures contingency language requires an open future?

I’ve heard it said that sin is not a “thing”, but a lack of good. How then could our sins be “put on” Jesus?

You said by natural generation, I think. So God designed that to be the means, I was assuming you meant. Is that accurate?

Calvinism emphasizes the wrong part of everything.
Replying to @CauseToKnow
It’s almost like they are emphasizing the wrong part of the Work of Christ

It's not really an offer if God picks who is and isn't saved. For a Calvinist to call it an offer or present it as an offer is to participate in deception.

In your Christian worldview, What IS salvation? Keeping people out of Hell and letting them live in Heaven? Protecting them from God’s wrath?

Even more interesting question: How does God render to everyone according to their deeds if we get Jesus’ deeds imputed to us? 😉
Scripture speaks about how God will render to each person according to their deeds. How does this not conflict with the view that we are born guilty, condemned for Adam's deed? Let the reader understand.

Yes. Now image he made gravity such that no one could stand without his making it happen miraculously and then condemning people for not standing.

No one is born non-elect
Even if you are born non-elect, there is literally NO WAY for you to know that this side of eternity. All you do know is that you have a responsibility to repent and believe just like everyone else. You will be without excuse.

Calvinists saying God permitted Adam to pass down to us a nature that is morally unable to seek God Is like saying God permits gravity to pull us down to earth. He didn’t just permit it, he designed it that way.

If God must give us humility for us to humble ourselves, Then when people don’t humble themselves, it’s because God didn’t give them humility. Josiah inadvertently places the responsibility on God.
Replying to @JosiahHuggins1
Does scripture anywhere say that God must give us humility for us to humble ourselves and that this giving is effectual for one to do so? CRICKETS

The people in Romans 1 are accountable because THEY KNEW GOD and rejected him, Not because they were born with a sin nature that made them unable to want to know God.

I think the Bible is the most poignant example of a book that people say 'this isn't my view, it's just what it clearly says'. Have some humility and acknowledge that it's your view or the view that you accept about what the Bible says/means on a doctrinal issue.

The “elect” just means the “choice” ones. The special ones. The ones who cared enough to listen and respond and do what he said. Amen, brother.
“MANY ARE CALLED, FEW ARE ELECT” -Jesus Who are “the called” in that parable? Everyone Who are “the elect” in that parable? Those who came in response to the King’s call clothed in the right wedding garments (Christ) If the king is somehow secretly controlling how those who are called respond to his calling, this parable makes absolutely no rational sense. Jesus makes sense.

God is good and awesome
I wish more people would be concerned about defending God's character than they are about defending their systematic.
