We assume anyone trying to run #DeepResearch w #Gemini #Ultra (worse for Pro?) now getting #AI #SLOP output. Just ran an urgent report for a customer & the output is like I asked GPT2 or an 8th grader !? @GeminiApp @OfficialLoganK @JeffDean !?any fix or context window GONE?

..another HOUR.. & #Gemini ULTRA DeepResearch is still hanging new reports (after 1hr wait) or denying service. @GeminiApp @GoogleDeepMind .. anyone ?? #Bueller? A whole late night and nada, so guessing forces many of us to try Claude 3.5.. since we have CRITICAL work to show in the AM (vs. the cat video's taking up TPU's).. no watchdog?? for DOA jobs, so we don't waste Millions of human hours, let alone Google HW/power hours??
Since we're sharing, the Gemini interface, like most, is God AWEFUL, Notebooks TBD (does it just chew up your DeepResearch Context window to hallucinate sooner? .. assume yes, no info), but no sorting/date-time stamps, no topic tags, no Personal vs. Work (your home and phone or Google Home dumb gemini-enabled Q's show on your chat timeline..) and the "#Search" through your chat history is 2x-Aweful.. and you folks ARE literally GOOGLE, its like a Junior High project.
We will dig into the Notebooks new features if we don't get sucked into Claude or ChatGPT, TBD. #Hoping @tomshardware @TheRegister @CNET

I noticed when your "Ultra" label goes away, and you run a Deep Research Report that stalls at "Writing your Report..." for 30 minutes.. it's HUNG :-( @GeminiApp, you're killing those of us trying to do PRODUCTIVE work after hours, on our OWN time, & our own $ULTRA$bucks.

Humanoid robots can fail and do unsafe things in countless ways – hardware malfunctions, software glitches, cyberattacks, freak edge cases, or human operator error.
A hundred years ago, there were 20 vehicle accident deaths per 100 million miles in the US. Today, that number is under 1.5 – but not zero.
Robots won’t be 100% safe – and maybe that shouldn’t be the expectation. We're in the “early automobile” phase for humanoids. We don’t yet have enough real-world data on robots working among people to define what “safe enough” truly means.
But robots do need to be among people – to assist the elderly, and to take on dangerous, repetitive, and tedious tasks. We’ll need to establish reasonable safety standards that protect people without stalling progress.
If we’re too risk-averse, we risk stagnation; if we’re too cavalier, we invite harm.
