New preprint! 🚨@KeckMedicineUSC @uzh_irem We started with the simple question: What happens when we transplant stem cells into a mouse model of #stroke, and what are the interactions between graft and host? Took us only 5 yrs to find outπŸ˜€: biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/… 1/10 🧡

Wow 🀯 Congratulations @felix_lansing and team πŸŽ‰ Amazing work. Looking forward to following the path of designer-recombinases towards the clinic 🩸πŸ’ͺ🏼 Keep the exciting work up! πŸ€ Check out the great tweetorial below πŸ‘‡
Our work just got published in @NatureComms. We developed a dual designer-recombinase system that efficiently corrects a 140 kb inversion frequently found in patients with severe Hemophilia A. 1/11 @BuchholzLab_TUD @TakebeLab @tudresden_de @Medizin_TUD rdcu.be/cFmeD

Impressive and important work 🐭 Congratulations to @rust_ruslan and all other authors! 🀩πŸ₯³ check it out πŸ‘πŸ’₯
Preprint alert!🚨 We as neuroscientists highly depend on behavioral testing in rodents 🐭. Still, assessing motor function or recovery can be so challenging⚑️. We aimed to change that using #deeplearning @DeepLabCut assisted 3D behavioral profiling biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/… 🧡1/

Did you ever wonder if there are any biomarker for brain injuries 🧠? Read the nice commentary from the talented @rust_ruslan to learn more!πŸ‘‡πŸ”¬πŸ™‚
Many of us have heard about #biomarker - But why are they so tremendously important to manage a brain injury? Have a look at my recent commentary in @_JCBFM about the recent developments of promising new blood biomarker for stroke. 1/6 πŸ‘‡πŸ§ πŸ€• journals.sagepub.com/doi/ful…

Preprint alert! πŸŽ‰ By expressing the Yamanaka factors until the maturation phase of iPSC reprogramming and then withdrawing them, we were able to rejuvenate human cells (many features suggest by ~30 years!) whilst retaining their initial cell identity. biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
