Learning poverty berarti anak usia sekitar 10 tahun belum mampu membaca dan memahami teks sederhana. Bukan sekadar belum lancar mengeja, tetapi belum mampu menangkap makna. Mengapa bisa sampai 70%? Karena pendidikan terlalu lama direduksi menjadi sekolah, ujian, dan hafalan. Anak kurang dibacakan cerita, kurang dilatih memahami alur, sebab-akibat, imajinasi, kosakata, dan makna. Dampaknya sangat serius: generasi yang lemah literasi akan mudah tertipu hoaks, sulit berpikir kritis, lemah daya saing, dan hanya menjadi penonton di era AI.
