#Isiolo, mothers, spouses, and family members with lived experiences related to violent extremism came together in a safe and supportive space to share in a journey of healing, reflection, and shared strength.
Through open conversations, they spoke about personal challenges, stigma, and the realities of rebuilding trust within their homes and communities. Together, they explored how vulnerability can emerge in everyday spaces, and how awareness at the household level can play a critical role in prevention.
As the sessions progressed, the conversations gradually shifted toward growth and possibility. Participants reflected on resilience, self-awareness, and the influence they hold in shaping safer, more connected families and communities.
By the close of the engagement, there was a strong sense of purpose and collective responsibility participants expressed a commitment to supporting one another and contributing to more informed, resilient communities.
