At Tata Power, inclusion isn’t just a value we speak about — it’s a responsibility we actively advance. Furthering our Pay Autention initiative, the Tata Power Community Development Trust has signed an MoU with the Commissionerate for Welfare of the Differently Abled, Government of Tamil Nadu, to strengthen the TN RIGHTS programme and deepen neurodiversity care across the state.
This partnership will focus on developing comprehensive neurodiversity support systems through high-tech LMS modules, Training of Trainers, technology-enabled service delivery, home-based care models, while also creating industry-aligned volunteering ecosystems that offer wider exposure and essential life skills. The MoU was signed by Tmt. M. Lakshmi, IAS, State Commissioner for Welfare of the Differently Abled, Government of Tamil Nadu, and Mr. Himal Tewari, CHRO, Chief – CSR & Sustainability and Chairperson, Tata Power Community Development Trust, in the presence of Ms. Foram Nagori, Mr. Mukul Mishra, Tmt. P. Fermi Vidya, and Mr. C. B. Ciril.
More than a formal collaboration, this marks a meaningful step towards embedding neurodiversity care into public systems, strengthening community connect, and ensuring that Persons with Disabilities can access support that is timely, dignified, and sustainable.
