In India, we treat cow as God, but in reality it eats garbage, lives in filth & abandoned on the roads with no one to care. We proudly say ‘Gau Mata’, yet plastic fills its stomach. We worship in temples, but ignore its suffering on our streets. This isn’t devotion — it’s hypocrisy. @GBA_office @BWCCofficial @ICCCBengaluru @ChristinMP_ @anil_lulla @Min_FAHD @LalanSingh_1 @NammaBengaluroo @TOIBengaluru @THBengaluru @prajavani @KannadaPrabha

This one board on Bengaluru–Mysuru highway can solve 80% of traffic issue if clearly followed Simple.Clear. Effective. Be honest… How many of us are actually following this lane rule ? We all see it: Trucks in fast lane Cars blocking overtaking lane Random lane cutting like it’s normal Then we blame roads, govt, traffic… Truth is — we are the problem. No discipline. No patience. No accountability. And yes, enforcement is weak too.But do we need police to follow basic common sense? Good roads strict rules = world-class driving. We lack discipline & accountability. #RoadSafety #LaneDiscipline #BengaluruMysuru #FixTheSystem @CMofKarnataka @spblrsouth @mandyapolice @ChristinMP_ @anil_lulla @motordave2 @DgpKarnataka @prajavani @THBengaluru @KannadaPrabha

Why can’t #Karnataka govt do something this basic in tourist places & beaches? Just a simple cage to collect plastic waste — not some big project, just basic common sense. Neighbouring states are already doing it, keeping their places clean. Here, we keep talking about tourism Western Ghats & beaches, but can’t even manage simple waste systems. Instead of big promises and publicity, why not focus on ground-level work? At least do this: Install waste cages in tourist spots & beaches Maintain & clear them regularly Fine people who litter. #CleanKarnataka #SaveBeaches #StopLittering #ResponsibleTourism @osd_cmkarnataka @CMofKarnataka @PMOIndia @HKPatilINC @anil_lulla @ChristinMP_ @UppinaKai @NammaBengaluroo @TVMohandasPai @prajavani @BangaloreMirror @THBengaluru @XpressBengaluru @THBengaluru @mepratap @naveenmzs

Many accidents occur at night because drivers fail to notice trees and electric poles near the roadside. As areas develop day by day, roads are becoming narrower, which increases the risk of accidents. As part of our social responsibility, yesterday our team taken the initiative to place radium stickers on trees and poles so that they are clearly and accidents can be avoided. This small step can help improve road safety and protect lives. 🚦🌳 @blrcitytraffic @JbharathiTrPs24 @prajavani @osd_cmkarnataka @Priyakrishna_K @anil_lulla @ChristinMP_ @motordave2 @DCPTrWestBCP @Acpvnagartrfbcp @TOIBengaluru @THBengaluru @BangaloreMirror @bypuratraffic @vijayanagartrps @rajajinagartrps @Jointcptraffic @KannadaPrabha

Every day we see garbage dumped on our roads, and it’s becoming a normal sight. Despite the government spending crores of public money on waste management, the problem still remains unresolved. Almost every road corner has piles of garbage. Spending money alone will not solve this issue. The government must also create stronger public awareness & impose hefty fines on those who dump waste on roads. This particular garbage pile is right next to Dr. Ambedkar Engineering College on Nagarbhavi Outer Ring Road. If such places remain neglected, what message are we sending about civic responsibility & governance? @GBA_office @BWCCofficial @ICCCBengaluru @osd_cmkarnataka @anil_lulla @bengalurupost1 @ChristinMP_ @Tejasvi_Surya

Yesterday we visited Sri #KanteshwaraSwamy Temple #Nanjanagudu & also went to the sacred #Kapila/#KabiniRiver beside the temple. Honestly, it was very disturbing to see the condition of the riverbank. Plastic covers everywhere, people leaving their old clothes after bathing & all this despite having proper places to dump waste. Even security was present but no one was stopping people from throwing garbage. If we truly respect our gods & our rivers, we must behave responsibly. Authorities need to impose strict fines & ensure rules are followed. @osd_cmkarnataka @CMofKarnataka @yaduveerwadiyar @DC_Mysuru @Star_Of_Mysore @siri_mysuru @ravikeerthi22 @mepratap @voiceofmysuru @Mysuru_Infra @MysuruCity_ @CivicMysuru @MYSURU_PAGE @S1Chandan @MLADarshanINC @CMahadevappa

Near #MalpeBeach, the drainage areas are heavily clogged with garbage, especially plastic waste. The lack of civic sense is deeply concerning. When we requested shopkeepers to avoid plastic usage, some responded rudely. We kindly urge the concerned authorities to look into this issue & take necessary action to maintain cleanliness & promote responsible practices. @osd_cmkarnataka @dcudupi @PoliceUdupi @YashpalBJP @laxmi_hebbalkar @TVMohandasPai @PMOIndia

New roads inside #BengaluruUniversity campus near #Kalagrama are already getting spoiled. Too many private buses parking and moving there daily. Every time we see people throwing garbage on the road, we request them to stop and dispose it responsibly. Today, even our pourakarmikas are expressing the same pain—garbage pickup vehicles come right in front of houses, yet waste is still thrown carelessly on roads. On this Republic Day, as we celebrate our Constitution and duties, it’s time to reflect: freedom also comes with responsibility. Civic sense and cleanliness must start at home. @ChristinMP_ @GBA_office @BCCCofficial @anil_lulla @TVMohandasPai @prajavani @TOIBengaluru @NammaBengaluroo @THBengaluru

It looks like a lake, but it’s slowly being turned into a garbage dump. Do we really lack this much common sense? How long will we keep talking only about “awareness” while such acts continue openly? We keep our homes clean, but treat our surroundings like someone else’s problem. What kind of civic responsibility is this? Enough is enough. Without strict enforcement & hefty penalties, such irresponsible behaviour will never stop. We welcome the proposal for the 153-acre Basavanna Biodiversity Park 🌿 — Bengaluru urgently needs new green lungs. But conservation cannot be selective. While creating new parks, we must protect existing natural ecosystems. Bengaluru University Bio-Park (Jnana Bharathi) is a rich biodiversity zone, carbon sink & living classroom for future generations. It deserves legal protection & heritage status, not fragmentation or concrete. True sustainability means adding green without destroying green. Save what we have. India dreams of becoming the world’s third-largest economy, but economic rankings alone don’t define a developed nation. Civic sense does. We proudly keep our homes clean, yet casually throw garbage on roads, footpaths, lakes empty plots—as if public spaces don’t belong to us. Rivers are treated like dumping grounds, streets become landfills after festivals, and drains choke because “someone else will clean it.” Patriotism today often stops at waving the flag, sharing slogans, or posting on social media. But real patriotism is not symbolic—it is behavioral. A nation cannot be strong when its citizens lack respect for their surroundings. @prajavani @anil_lulla @TVMohandasPai @BWCCofficial @bengalurupost1 @BPACofficial @ICCCBengaluru @KannadaPrabha @kiranshaw @TOIBengaluru @THBengaluru

Public infrastructure is collapsing under behavioural neglect. Spitting pan masala in metro premises — a habit largely imported from BIMARU states — continues because enforcement is weak. Awareness boards don’t work. Only real penalties, prosecutions & public naming of offenders will. 📍 KSR Railway Metro Station — FOB towards City Railway Station connecting point. #CivicSense #CleanPublicSpaces #ZeroTolerance @OfficialBMRCL @ChristinMP_ @BCCCofficial @bengalurupost1 @WF_Watcher @anil_lulla

When people repeatedly raise their voices and still see no response, silence becomes the only option left. It has been over 20 days, yet the issue remains unresolved, forcing citizens to struggle every single day. What makes it worse is the complete absence of barricades or warning signs. At night, the hazard becomes almost invisible, posing a serious risk to motorists & pedestrians. @osd_cmkarnataka @GBA_office @BWCCofficial @ICCCBengaluru @DKShivakumar

Nowadays, the misuse of “POLICE” stickers on private vehicles is increasing. To curb this, the Police Department must conduct a special drive immediately. For instance, vehicle AP21 AQ 5827 is using a police sticker & riding without a helmet. We also request strict action against interstate vehicles that frequently violate traffic rules & show little regard for regulations. @blrcitytraffic @Jointcptraffic @PoliceKurnool @yelahankatrfps @yelahankatrps @motordave2 @3rdEyeDude

A simple metal box on a compound wall — that’s it. One tiny idea that solves a thousand excuses. People say garbage vehicles don’t come on time, we work night shifts, and so on… and then dump trash on the streets. But this small box proves a point: if we store our waste responsibly, the garbage vehicle can pick it up anytime it arrives. We can’t blame the govt for everything. Cleanliness is also our responsibility. Small solutions. Big impact. We request @mkrishnappa_MLA to develop this vacant space into a basketball court or any sports facility. Our children are facing a severe shortage of playgrounds as most empty areas are being converted into parks. A dedicated sports space here will greatly help improve physical activity, endurance & overall well-being of youngsters in our area. Please consider this for the benefit of our community. 🙏 @ChristinMP_ @osd_cmkarnataka @CMofKarnataka @DKShivakumar @GBA_office @BWCCofficial @Priyakrishna_K @prajavani @VijayaKarnataka @AshwiniMS_TNIE @Tejasvi_Surya

Cutting of Full-Grown Trees in Bengaluru University – A Serious Concern Bengaluru University is blessed with one of the largest green spaces in our city — even greener than Lalbagh & Cubbon Park. It is a natural oxygen bank for Bengaluru West, a home to countless birds, animals & a crucial buffer against pollution. Yet, despite already having multiple unused & empty buildings within campus, plans are being made to cut down fully grown trees for new construction projects. Why destroy what has taken decades to grow? On one side, governments preach about environmental protection, “Go Green” policies, & climate action. On the other side, they themselves are cutting down trees, pushing our city toward a future of hotter summers, worse floods, and suffocating air quality. We’ve all seen how Delhi struggles every year with toxic air. Do we want Bengaluru to face the same fate? These trees are not obstacles — they are our lifeline. They belong not just to us, but to future generations. Once destroyed, they cannot be replaced in our lifetime. @ANI @BangaloreMirror @bengalurupost1 @ChristinMP_ @CMofKarnataka @DKShivakumar @eshwar_khandre @GBA_office @NammaBengaluroo @WFRising @kiranshaw @TVMohandasPai @Tejasvi_Surya @RAshokaBJP @BJP4Karnataka @JanataDal_S @Kanagalogy @krs_party @PMOIndia @moefcc @prajavani @KannadaPrabha @VijayaKarnataka @naveenmzs @AshwiniMS_TNIE @THBengaluru @TOIBengaluru @rashtrapatibhvn @Priyakrishna_K
