PIDE held the first meeting of its 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗥𝗔𝗖) - a major step toward shaping a sharper, more impactful research agenda for 2026.
The session brought together distinguished experts from across Pakistan, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusive, nationally grounded, and policy-relevant research. Their insights – rooted in decades of experience across academia, government, and industry – added valuable depth and realism to PIDE’s forward direction.
The meeting also highlighted the central role of 𝗣𝗜𝗗𝗘’𝘀 𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀, which are driving solution-oriented work aligned with national priorities. Each centre presented its research roadmap, enabling constructive feedback and strategic alignment.
𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗔𝗖 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆. 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 𝗣𝗜𝗗𝗘’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗸 - 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆, 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻.
