This is communism not socialism. NYC is on the verge of electing a 33 year old communist with no work or executive experience who is promising to make tons of things free, all paid for by people who work for a living, by raising taxes on working people in a City that already has the highest tax rate in the country and has the most people leaving than anywhere else in the country . Oh yes he is also an anti-semite in a City with the most Jews outside of Israel. All because 5% of Dem voters voted for him and he got the Dem line on the ballot. People like @RepJerryNadler @NydiaVelazquez endorsed him because he got the line. Good comrades. There is nothing about any of this that makes any sense. We must continue to resist. @OneCityRisingNY @GovKathyHochul @RepJeffries @SenSchumer @RitchieTorres @MonaDavids @ycinnewyork @SquarePegDem @Tom_Suozzi @RepDanGoldman @RepGregoryMeeks
This is horrifying.

What a night! This has to be one of the most excited I have ever seen New Yorkers over a win. Congrats to the whole team and to the record breaking achievement of MVP Jalen Brunson who shows how a work ethic delivers success time and time again. What a refreshing message at a time when young people seem to be hearing the exact opposite. There is something about the vibe in the city that feels very different. It feels like a major rejection of all the negativity and divisiveness. All of the loser attitude that the the country sucks and hard work leads to nothing but failure. The people are saying we LOVE who we are and we want positivity and unity to rule. We feel it too and that is why @OneCityRisingNY is taking on the fight for open primaries. Open primaries will franchise every voter across NYC. No more leaving people out of our political system because they won’t drink someone else’s kool aid. This is the @nyknicks moment. The city is telling us what we need to do. We just need to listen. @OpenPrimaryUSA @saveournabes @savetheuws @Megmd514 @katiewr31413491 @stick_dynamite

June is the new November. Whoever wins the June primary is going to win in November in practically every race because we are a one party city. At this point because of our closed primary system the November election in New York City is pretty much irrelevant. To make it even more rigged, the actual primary date is late June when kids are out of school and people go away. They do everything possible to make sure turnout is as low as possible. So if you are a registered Dem but not someone who normally votes in primary elections, this is the year to become a primary voter. You can vote starting tomorrow. Unfortunately, you have to be registered in the Dem party to participate in this year’s crucial primary races. Due to NY’s discriminatory closed primary system, there is no way to vote unless you were registered as a Dem months ago ( the deadline was Feb 14). So independents are not allowed to vote. This means over 1.2-1.4 million New Yorkers can’t weigh in on who is elected to represent us. The majority of those voters are young people, people of color and veterans. It’s the fastest growing voter block in the city and they are all disenfranchised. If you happen to be a registered Dem you are in luck. Below is @OneCityRisingNY voter guide. It explains who to vote for and why. Spread the word. This system is so rigged. The only tool we have to counter it is to get registered Dems to the polls. So let’s go people. Call everyone you know and get them to the polls with @OneCityRisingNY voter guide in hand. And BTW we will get Open Primaries. Maybe not today or by November but it’s coming. Join the @OneCityRisingNY mailing list to find out how you can get involved. The tents have arrived! Welcome to @NYCMayor Mamdani’s socialist NYC ! This photo was taken last night outside the iconic Beresford on Central Park West, one of the most expensive apartment buildings in NYC at the entrance to @CentralParkNYC and across the street from @AMNH , spots that are visited by hundred of thousands of New Yorkers and tourists every day. It’s also by the bus and subway stops, with thousands of commuters coming and going. Could not tell if the couple inhabiting the tent were actually homeless. They had computer equipment and expensive gear. BTW Mamdani himself was at the same spot just a few days ago with an entourage just before the tent arrived. Too bad he missed it because we all know how quickly he would have taken action to make sure the law against erecting tents on city streets is enforced. Haha yeah sure. @OneCityRisingNY @savetheuws @Megmd514 @nyc311 @NYPDCentralPark @WallStreetApes @JCAndersonNYC @katiewr31413491 @FamilyHarlem @stick_dynamite @familiesfornyc @saveournabes

Chuck Schumer funneled $1 million in federal taxpayer cash for a “Deliverista Hub,” a fancy shelter for food delivery drivers in NYC, while the gig companies raked in billions. It “opened” with a ribbon-cutting… and days later it’s locked, dark, empty, and useless due to electrical screw-ups. Democrats love “fighting” billion-dollar corporations… by handing them cheap labor and wasting your money on photo-op infrastructure that doesn’t work. Classic.

We should all personally thank Howard Yaruss and Ken Coughlin - activists for @transalt for volunteering to be traffic guards at the intersections of 72nd when their PERSONAL 2 way bike lane is installed. Against the objection of the 20,000 residents on 72nd and tens of thousands more in the community along with every small business like tip top shoes- these 2 and their bike cult told us last night we are going to love being mowed down by the e-bikes!! So thanks again for volunteering to show us why we will love it and how “enforcement” will work when no bike is licensed or registered and the @NYCMayor eliminated any enforcement on bikes. Ken specifically should get a promotion for fulfilling his lobbyist duties to the NRA version of the bike lobby by giving every resident the proverbial middle finger who over and over expressed safety concerns- Once again proving @CB7Manhattan is not a volunteer community group - but a bunch of lobbyists acting on behalf of billionaire well funded activist organizations. @enforcelawsNYC @EricsRambles @Maria4Dist6

What’s the phrase? If you don’t like the heat get out of the kitchen? This is Nithya Raman, the Democrat Socialist ( DSA) candidate challenging incumbent Karen Bass ( a far lefty who isn’t lefty enough apparently for the DSA) to be mayor of LA. She goes on to say ( about her children seeing a homeless encampment ): I feel bad that I am subjecting them to this at all.” Guess what? Community activism against you comes with the territory. If you can’t handle it don’t run. As for the homeless shelter, DSA people are like this. They want to be protected from seeing or interacting with the real world impact of their own bad policies. And then they claim victimhood when they are called out for their policies. They cannot handle anyone doing to them what they routinely do to others. ( Watch the eye roll in video 1.) This post sums up why DSA candidates are toxic. @OneCityRisingNY @spencerpratt @savetheuws @Megmd514 @JCAndersonNYC @stick_dynamite
LA Mayor candidate Nithya Raman has publicly said: “I don’t think a kid is gonna be safer because a tent is 500 feet away from a school”. 3 days ago a FAKE encampment was set up outside her home, a visibly shaken Raman said: “I have two little kids. They didn’t see it, luckily this morning” Do these people ever listen to themselves?!?

I just read an interview with @spencerpratt in the @WSJ and I was horrified to learn that in LA the current Mayor and current city council allow people living on the street to abuse their dogs. Drug addicts routinely inject their dogs with drugs and the Mayor and City Council do not believe people who are living on the street should be held accountable for breaking the law and abusing animals. As a committed supporter of animal rights and a mother, I am appalled by this . I sincerely hope that the voters of LA send a loud and clear message and vote for Spencer Pratt for this and many other reasons. The WSJ interview also said that even though Spencer is running on the GOP line, he views himself as a moderate and cited Bill Clinton as one of his models. I have called and written to everyone I know in LA to vote for Spencer. Please spread the word. @OneCityRisingNY @BobHoldenNYC @FoAorg @stick_dynamite @katiewr31413491 @Megmd514

I was proud to support Israel yesterday at NY’s Israel Day Parade and was uplifted to so see many people of all ages and backgrounds from all over the tri- state area march with pride and solidarity! It is unfortunate to have such a polarizing mayor who cannot put his obsession with being anti-Israel aside for once. Am Israel Chai! @OneCityRisingNY
The same Mayor Mamdani who says he won't join the Israel Parade because of the government, marched with a smile on his face at the Pakistan Independence Day parade. Pakistan 🇵🇰 - Is a global transit point for human trafficking - Sees 1000 honor killings of women a year - Has one of the highest rates of heroin addiction in the world - Its army raped ~200,000-400,00 women and killed between 300,000 and 3 million people during a war with Bangladesh in 1971, in what is widely recognized as a genocide - Multiple terror groups operate in the country and killed 100s in attacks in just the last year None of those are reasons for individual Pakistanis to stop marching for their country; random citizens are not responsible for an entire country's failures. But they are reasons why the Mayor's stance betrays a double standard. Mayors are responsible for ALL of their city's residents, no matter what country they are from.

I stand with @PaulRieckhoff and every independent who has been disenfranchised. The extremist left are only adding fuel to the fire by trying to silence this movement. We will not back down. We will not rest until NYC has Open Primaries. We are just getting started. @OneCityRisingNY @susanleenyc @stick_dynamite @bronxilla
I saw @BradLander this morning campaigning outside my kids public school. He’s running in my district (NY-10). I asked him if he’d support open primaries in NYC. He gave me a bullshit answer about how he supports rank choice voting (not the same—and great for Dems in NYC—bad for everyone else). And he went to the party line about the need to fight gerrymandering. I asked him to support non partisan congressional redistricting—of course he wouldn’t. He kept dodging open primaries and his record. Like the shadiest kind of politician does. I pressed him—and he uncomfortably and eventually admitted he doesn’t support open primaries. Then told me I should just join a party. Which is the great revealer. Then he weakly tried to argue against open primaries. He’s used to debating people who are less informed on this issue. He thinks people don’t know that he’s been the lead hatchet-man for the DSA and Mamdani in closing out independents in NYC. Here’s some background: city-journal.org/article/new… They don’t want t allow it on the ballot for a public vote. Because they’ll lose. And radicals that are the minority on both sides will be shut out. Less Mamdanis. Less Trumps. Primaries in NYC are funded publicly, by all NYers, and use PUBLIC funds, voting machines, and schools. Like the one we were standing outside of. That my kids go to. Just blocks from ground zero where I served on 9/11. That I can’t vote in next month. Because Lander, the Democrats and DSA want to keep their rigged and private system in place. It’s corrupt, it’s rigged, and it’s unAmerican. And he knows it. But still supports it because it benefits him and his extreme side. And he calculates that most NYers and voters in our NY-10th won’t learn about it. Republicans and Democrats are doing the same nationwide. Denying independents (45% of America) equal power in our democracy. Lander refuses to support an equal vote for all New Yorkers. And for an independent vet like me—and hundreds of thousands of others. And he’s actively working against it. More than almost any politician in America. Despite the fact that most NYers (and most Americans) want open primaries. It reveals his naked and radical partisanship more than anything else. If you don’t support open primaries you don’t support equality for all. That’s the bottom line. And that’s Lander. FWIW, I’m not supporting @danielsgoldman either. But the reality is, because of the rigged primary system, it will be over in NY-10 next month. And Lander is likely to win. And the Democrat will definitely win. But, like tens of millions of independents, I will have no meaningful vote or say in determining my member of Congress. The person who will determine votes on war, my VA benefits, and countless other urgent issues. I have no voice in Congress. As is the case in 90% congressional races in America that are over after the primary. This is what our rigged and corrupt election system looks like. It doesn’t have to be this way. Now, New Mexico, California next week, and other states are getting it right. And I’ll never stop fighting Lander or any other Democrat or Republican that wants to perpetuate the rigged system. It’s not broken. It’s rigged. And it’s wrong. And I hope you’ll stand with me, Open Primaries, IVA and tens of millions of others. Until it’s changed and open primaries are everywhere. It’s bigger than NY-10, or NY state. It’s about the future of our democracy. And Brad Lander is leading the attack.🚨🇺🇸🗽 🗳️Next week in California, there will be open primaries. And millions of independents will finally have a new and historic opportunity to have any impact. But will it be the last time? It will be if Brad Lander and others in California have their way. I’ll be part of a press event repping for @IndyVetsAmerica today at 2ET alongside @OpenPrimaryUSA, Independent Voter Project, and @UniteAmerica. Members of the media are invited to learn more: independentveteransofamerica…

An expert weighs in on the cruel and opportunistic statements made by Lander who is trying to unseat @RepDanGoldman in Congress. Lander is a master of distorted rhetoric. I have seen it up close countless times when he was NYC Comptroller. NY deserve better. But will the voters listen and will they show up to vote to keep Goldman in Congress? @OneCityRisingNY
I am not a Jew. But as a professor of international law & retired military lawyer who studies how distorted legal rhetoric is used to justify hate & violence directed against Jews, you are 💯 mistaken to believe your safety "as Jewish New Yorkers" is "inextricably intertwined with Palestinians." I am not progressive, either. But based on your comments in this clip & my background with the study mentioned above, I do have a few tips you should consider exploring if you are genuinely concerned with your safety as a Jewish New Yorker. Spoiler alert: these tips have absolutely nothing to do with Palestinians - at least, not directly. 1. Stop blaming @Israel for what you refer to as "the utter destruction of Gaza." First of all, #Gaza isn't "utterly destroyed" to begin with. There are absolutely areas that are currently uninhabitable due to the conflict. But it's not all of Gaza. This perception has been carefully curated by influencers showing isolated clips of select destroyed areas while giving the false impression that this visualization represents the entire Strip. It doesn't. If you think otherwise, do yourself a favor & find/follow accounts like @GAZAWOOD1 that present clips of videos that are posted from people living inside Gaza right now. If you believe Gaza is utterly destroyed, educate yourself. You are being played, and only you can stop it. Second, learn at least something about international law. Like this. You criticize your opponent @RepDanGoldman for supporting "unconditional aid to Israel" (Ilana Glazer's words) "even despite Israel's utter destruction of Gaza" (your words). Here, you are actually supporting strategic objectives of literal terrorists whose only goal is the utter destruction of Israel. #Hamas committed the atrocities of 10/7 to provoke a large-scale armed conflict in order to derail normalization between 🇮🇱 & select Arab countries. Their best shot at getting away with it was for sympathetic partisans throughout the West - such as yourself & Ilana Glazer - to convince Israel's traditional closest partners & allies to restrict military aid & pressure Israel into implementing a ceasefire as early as possible. Doing so would ensure Hamas could survive to continue in a governance role in Gaza after the conflict. And the way to convince Iran's useful idiots, such as yourself, to pressure Western governments to restrict military aid is to manipulate the language of international law to make it seem that these countries are failing to comply with their own legal obligations or even "complicit" in systemic "war crimes" by failing to condition or restrict aid. It's a hoax, and it always has been. Determining whether a war crime has been committed requires evidence of the knowledge & intent of personnel responsible for each attack at the time. If you don't believe me, study this highlighted excerpt of the Rome Statute (pic 1). Yes, neither 🇮🇱 nor 🇺🇸 have ratified this multilateral treaty. But the main war crimes provisions in Article 8, as well as the mental element/mistake of fact provisions of Articles 30 & 32, are consistent with our military doctrine. And guess what evidence you need, pursuant to this doctrinal source, to determine a war crime has been committed. That's right! If a war crime involves "intentionally directing an attack against" civilian persons or property, and "intent" means "awareness that a circumstance exists," and the "circumstance" is the civilian (not taking direct part in hostilities) character of the person/object attacked, then we require evidence demonstrating personnel responsible for each attack were aware of the civilian character of the target at the time & they attacked it anyway. Any guesses what you can't determine just from looking at "utter destruction" in a battlespace? Right again! Knowledge & intent of personnel responsible for each attack at the time that led to that utter destruction. Maybe - just maybe - a transnational terrorist organization committed one of the most horrific atrocities in living memory then deliberately hid & fought among its own civilian population in the ensuing large-scale armed conflict it decided to provoke. And maybe they hid IEDs in every structure they could so that @IDF troops clearing the area successfully capturing it would still continue to perish. And maybe that is cumulatively the reason for the "utter destruction of Gaza." News flash: that is exactly the cause of most of the destruction in Gaza. And because that's the case, there is no obligation to condition military aid to Israel. No clear risk of systemic war crimes being committed with arms supplied to Israel (🇺🇸 hasn't ratified the Arms Trade Treaty, but we have a similar process for determining whether to provide military aid nonetheless) means no requirement to condition aid. The reason the language of international law is routinely distorted in this manner, btw, is to convert a policy argument into what appears to be a legal one. A "should" to a "must." But if you believe 🇺🇸 is failing to abide by its international law obligations by providing military aid to 🇮🇱, once again you are being played. Stop. 2. Stop perpetuating the "genocide" blood libel. As you criticize Dan Goldman for supporting "unconditional aid to Israel," along with the "utter destruction" nonsense you also say he does so, "Even despite Israel's utter destruction of Gaza, which I consider a genocide" (emphasis added). There are a lot of people nowadays who believe Israel is responsible for genocide in Gaza. But all of you who do simply demonstrate you don't understand what "genocide" actually is. See, if we start with the doctrinal definition from the Genocide Convention, we see that this crime of crimes is committed by engaging in enumerated acts (not pictured) "with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such" (pic 2, especially red highlight). Guess what doesn't qualify as a "national, ethnical, racial, or religious group". Right! Terrorist groups like Hamas. And take a wild guess which group IDF ops in Gaza intend to destroy. If you said "Palestinians," you are, once again, just another of Iran's useful idiots. If you said "Hamas," give yourself a pat on the back. The stated intent, from the very beginning of Swords of Iron all the way until today, has been to: 1) eliminate the enduring security threat posed by Hamas; and 2) repatriate all hostages. If you're not sure about that, I invite you to review these excerpts from public remarks provided by @IsraeliPM @netanyahu in October 2023 (pic 3) & October 2025 (pic 4). Slightly different wording, same intent. Yes, I've heard the argument too many times to count now that most major "human rights" orgs & a number of "genocide scholars" & a UN commission of inquiry & even a handful of countries have all determined Israel is responsible for genocide. But they ALL use the same flawed methodology, and so their conclusions are also irreparably flawed. That is, they ALL begin with a few specimens of political rhetoric from various Israeli officials, most of which are misrepresented or taken out of context to begin with, to establish the requisite "intent." Then they take an equally selective collection of "evidence" - much of which is from untrustworthy or unreliable sources anyway - to establish the enumerated acts to go along with the purportedly genocidal intent. It is, once again, a hoax. Not a single one starts with the actual stated intent (eg pics 3 & 4 attached here) then takes a balanced, unbiased approach to assessing whether actions actually observed in the battlespace are consistent with the intent to destroy Hamas or, instead, to destroy Palestinians in whole or in part as such. If you do that - if you understand the correct methodology & you apply it rigorously - there is only one conclusion: Israel is not committing genocide in Gaza, nor has it ever. It doesn't matter what "you consider" it. You are being played, because you are ignorant. Stop, by educating yourself. 3. Stop blaming "Trump and Netanyahu for setting the Middle East on fire." Do you know who actually set the Middle East on Fire? Terrorists like Nasrallah, Deif, Sinwar, and the Ayatollah Khamenei, along with the militaries & proxies armed groups they led. And they did so on 10/7, once again, simply to derail normalization. In doing so, these literal terrorists demonstrated that the status quo of appeasement & diplomacy in pursuit of peace in the Middle East & a two-state solution was no longer tenable. Tbh that approach wasn't tenable for quite a while - but 10/7 proved that to be the case. And now Trump & Netanyahu are the two world leaders with both the intestinal fortitude & the resources to establish a new status quo. That's what Swords of Iron & Rising Lion & Midnight Hammer & Roaring Lion & Epic Fury have been all about - achieving a new status quo after the aforementioned literal terrorists actually (literally) set the Middle East on fire. The only way to successfully achieve a new, acceptable status quo is through force of arms - not arms embargoes. If you believe otherwise, you are being played. Stop it. Open your eyes & educate yourself. Okay, those are three suggestions for specific actions you can take to help improve your safety as New York Jews. The same goes for Jews really throughout the West. Because here's the thing. Your safety as Jews in the West has absolutely nothing to do with Palestinians. It has everything to do with countering the false narratives - primarily involving misrepresentations of international law - that are being used to justify hate & attacks against Jews. It doesn't matter how much you try distance yourself from Israel, or zionism, or Bibi, or Trump. That won't stop some crazed lunatic from pulling a gun on you or siccing his dog on you or driving his car into your synagogue or throwing bricks at your head or any other number of seemingly random & horrific attacks against Jews we've seen escalate in the West since 10/7. G-d forbid any of these or other acts of violence ever happens to you or someone you love. But if it does, recent experience suggests the perpetrator - and his supporters afterward - will accuse you of supporting genocide & war crimes just for being Jewish. Because Jews are being regarded as proxies for Israel, and Israel is being regarded as a proxy for zionism, and Hamas doctrine justifies the "struggle" against the "Zionist entity" known as the State of Israel. I've heard the term "self-hating Jew" be directed toward folks like yourself. Oftentimes you're referred to by the term "As-a-Jew." @GadSaad would probably diagnose you with suicidal empathy. Regardless of whether any of those descriptions apply, as someone who specializes in international law I can definitively affirm you are both ignorant & naive. If you're concerned about your safety as a Jew, stop perpetuating the lies & distortions that are - unfortunately - putting you most at risk. Stop blaming Israel & @AIPAC & conservatives like Netanyahu & Trump for ... well, everything in the Middle East & at home in New York. Learn how to push back, with precision, against the false narratives that are being used to justify hate & violence directed against the Jewish population. This is the most effective direction you can take if you are genuinely concerned about your safety as a Jew.

Happy Memorial Day! The sun finally emerged after three days of rain here in NYC. Today we honor and memorialize our service members who have given their lives for our freedoms. I honor my family members who served our country: my maternal great uncle who died at the age of 19 in World War I just one week before armistice and just a few years after arriving in this country from Italy, and three of my father’s cousins who died in World War II and are buried in northern France. My father spent 13 years in the US Navy and was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He lost most of his hearing from being on a warship in the Pacific and/or the Inchon Beach invasion in South Korea. I want to say a word about our broken primary system because I is Memorial Day. Many people do not understand how our primary system disenfranchises 1.4 million voters, the majority of whom our veterans and prefer to be independent rather than affiliate with a particular party. Given how they put themselves in the line of fire for us, the least we can do is give them the right to vote and preserve their right to not have to affiliate with a particular political party to do so. I can understand why active duty, military, and veterans do not want to pick sides. That is their right can you is wrong for us to force him not to go with their conscience. Did you know that @NYCMayor has been lobbying Albany @GovKathyHochul @CarlHeastieNY to disband the @ericadamsfornyc Charter Revision Commission to take on Open Primaries and other important issues? Last year he got the commission at the last second to pull Open Primaries off the ballot. The extremists do not want to give the voters the right to make this decision Weather to fully franchise our independent voters . The reality is the June primaries determine the winners in November in almost every case. We do not have competitive general elections. It’s shameful and a travesty to disenfranchise so many voters. We at @OneCityRisingNY are committed to fighting for the right of every veteran and service member to participate in our elections. @susanleenyc @ycinnewyork @bronxilla @stick_dynamite @nycpix @katiewr31413491 @JCAndersonNYC @Jgcollins_NYC @gtjco @TheKvetcher @PassengersUnite @familiesfornyc @Danyela4NY

One of the most concerning things about this interview with Karen Bass is how surprised she is that there are people within government and the NGO world who do not want to end street homelessness, who resist the idea of telling people they cannot live on the streets. Hello???? She doesn’t know this? I don’t live in LA but I have known for years just from living in a deep blue city with the loony @ACLU left ideologues that there is a whole cadre of them who don’t want to end street homelessness. Is she so completely out of touch that she doesn’t get this? Or is she really just afraid to piss off the far left fringe? The loonies at @ACLU say don’t infringe upon people’s civil right to take drugs, be mentally ill without hope for the future, live on the street in the cold, have no access to hygiene, etc . And the socialists l in control of @ACLU now want to make sure we have a steady stream of props to be used to advance their socialist agenda. They don’t want these people to get help because it means the country is not so bad after all. The result in NYC was the death of 25 homeless people this past winter because our socialist mayor would not give them the help they needed. Enough. These are human beings not props. San Francisco voters woke up and elected @DanielLurie a good Mayor who is addressing the problem head on. Other cities are waking up. It’s time for LA to do the same. If I lived in LA I would be the first on line the minute voting opens to vote for @spencerpratt . You cannot make progress when leaders are this out of touch or are so afraid of pissing off the loonies that people are not getting the help they need. @OneCityRisingNY @saveournabes @savetheuws @Megmd514 @stick_dynamite @JCAndersonNYC @Twolferecovery @garrytan @DanielLurie @RezaC1 @katiewr31413491 @bronxilla @JulieMenin @MarkLevineNYC
🚨 OMG. This is BRUTAL for Karen Bass! CNN: Your goal was to end street homelessness by 2026 in LA. It's now 2026. We haven't ended it, and we're not close. How are you so OFF? BASS: When I said that...I didn't realize the bureaucratic barriers. I'm prepared now. CNN: But you promised it would go away by 100%. It's only gone down about 17.6%. Why would people trust you're going to get to the 100%? *Bass melts down* ANOTHER REASON to vote for @SpencerPratt! She's cooked!
